Iron Mountain Data Centers provides a range of prefabricated walk-in modules at key sites worldwide. Our modules allow you to accelerate your data center deployments and add hybridized or dedicated AI, using efficient, flexible, highly secure and easy-to-scale infrastructure.

Modules

AI-ready

With power feeds that can offer up to 36kW rack density, modules provide an ideal environment for either dedicated or hybrid enterprise AI implementations, enabling a smooth AI migration path.

Flexible

Modules are available full or split. IT and mechanical areas are separated and hot and cold aisles have separate doors. It is also easy to mix air cooling with liquid cooling, aggregating power in a few high-density racks while running standard colocation racks next door.

Efficient

Modular deployments are extremely efficient, offering a PUE of 1.2 or less. Designed to optimise space and energy usage, they enable users to make accurate predictions of operational PUE at commissioning.

Secure

Modules are complete data centers in a box. They have multiple security layers (e.g. card access, biometrics), creating autonomous and completely private data center suites for customers.

Compliant

Offering fully redundant architecture, modules can support the most stringent compliance criteria, including NIST 800-53 standards for security and resilience.

Scalable

Perhaps the most attractive feature of modular infrastructure is its easy scalability. Our HPC and AI modular customers in particular tend to double up annually or even faster, and using paired modules makes accelerated growth easy to plan and implement.
